🎮 OWCS 2025 Midseason Championship – Viewer’s Guide
Hey Heroes!
It’s almost time for the OWCS Midseason Championship — and trust me, this one’s gonna be massive. From July 31 to August 3, sixteen of the top Overwatch teams from around the globe are jumping into the server to fight for the crown, and I’ll be right there with popcorn (and drops) in hand.
Whether you’re a sweaty ranked grinder or just love some good ol’ esports chaos, here’s everything you need to know to catch the hype, snag your rewards, and rep your favorite squads.
💥 What Even Is This Event?
Last Chance Qualifier — July 16–17
One final ticket to MSC is up for grabs. Starting July 16 at 2 PM AST (or way too early July 17 at 4 AM PT), a ton of hopefuls will go head-to-head in the LCQ. Only one team gets to go to Riyadh. It’s gonna be spicy.
Midseason Championship — July 31–August 3
Start times: 6 AM PT / 4 PM AST
We’ve got 16 teams total, and here’s how it works:
- July 31–Aug 1: Group Stage – 4 groups of 4 teams. Top 2 from each move on.
- Aug 2–3: Playoffs – Single-elim bracket. One team stands at the end.
Expect sweeps, upsets, clutch supports, and questionable ult economy.
🎁 Viewership Rewards (a.k.a. The Loot)
Let’s be real — we’re all watching and farming drops. Here’s what you can earn just by keeping the stream open (yes, even in the background while you “study”).

- 3 hr: Tier Skip

🗓️ Wait… What’s Happened So Far?
TL;DR: 2025 Has Been a Banger
- Stage 1: Kicked off in January. Ended with Champions Clash, where Crazy Raccoon pulled off a legendary lower bracket win.
- Stage 2: Geekay went full anime protagonist in NA, Al Qadsiah popped off in EMEA, and VARREL absolutely owned Japan.
- Korea? Total madness. Falcons dropped out (I’m still recovering).
- China: WBG, Team CC, and ROC are all showing up big.
One final team gets in via LCQ — and then we’re ready to roll.
