But not all hope is lost.
Opposing them is a radiant team of magical defenders known as the Heroes of Heart—chosen champions who embody powerful virtues like Strength, Grace, Passion, Courage, and Hope. Through enchanted Magitech and the light of their awakened Hearts, these heroes protect the world and one another with the magic of emotion and belief.

Each Hero of Heart channels a specific virtue, represented by a magical title and an inner source of power:

The Hollow Hearts are corrupted individuals whose Hearts have been consumed by Woe. Stripped of emotion, they fight to drown the world in despair. One of the most tragic of them is:
- Nocturna (Hana Song / D.Va) 💔
Once a Hero of Heart, Hana fell to Woe and became Nocturna, a dark mirror of her former self. Now she serves the Hollow Hearts, spreading sorrow and chaos. Despite her villainous role, echoes of her true self remain—and her connection to Brigitte suggests her story isn’t over.

A magical moment that changes everything…
The comic opens in the elegant, enchanted halls of Château Guillard, the headquarters of the Heroes of Heart. The magical girl squad is on high alert: Angela is missing, Hana (D.Va) has fallen into darkness, and the spread of Woe is growing stronger. But Freja makes a discovery—a new Heart is awakening.
Far across the world, in the vibrant city of Lijiang Tower, a kind and hardworking girl named Juno is just trying to finish her day and make it to dinner with her family. But when her mother suddenly collapses, she’s confronted by a chilling figure: Nocturna, the Hollow Heart version of Hana. Nocturna reveals she’s not after Juno’s mother—she’s there for her.
Just in time, the Heroes of Heart arrive to save Juno, cleanse her mother of Woe, and present her with a piece of Magitech—a device that can unlock her true potential. But Juno hesitates. She doesn’t believe in herself—until she remembers Brigitte’s words:
“Close your eyes… open your Heart… and believe.”
She whispers the phrase—and transforms into the Heart of Hope in a burst of radiant, emotional light. 🌟💖
Together, the team battles Nocturna, their powers combined in a swirl of passion, courage, and strength. But just before they can finish the fight, Brigitte pleads with Hana, begging her to come home. There’s emotion in her voice—a closeness that hints at something more.
