Hazard and Ramattra headline tank changes in Overwatch 2 Season 18

Hazard received nerfs with Spike Guard’s damage reduction lowered from 65% to 60% and Violent Leap’s damage cut from 80 to 70. This was aimed at toning him down in higher level play where he has been performing too well.

Ramattra got a small but welcome buff. His Nemesis Form bonus armor was increased from 250 to 275, giving him a bit more durability.

Roadhog was boosted significantly. His Scrap Gun critical multiplier increased from 1.5 to 2x, and Take a Breather’s regeneration rate went from 10 to 12.5 per second.

Wrecking Ball saw nerfs again with Quad Cannons reduced from 100 to 80 ammo and Minefield duration dropped from 20 to 16 seconds.

DPS adjustments: genji and hanzo nerfed, torbjorn buffed

Hanzo’s Storm Arrows no longer have larger projectile sizes compared to normal arrows, reducing their effectiveness.

Genji’s Deflect cooldown was increased from 8 to 10 seconds, limiting how often he can turn fights around.

Torbjorn picked up buffs with Overload duration increased to 6 seconds and Molten Core damage per second raised from 160 to 190.

Tracer’s perk cost went up by 25%, delaying when she can come online.

Widowmaker was buffed, with Grappling Hook cooldown reduced from 12 to 10 seconds and Venom Mine total damage boosted from 75 to 125.

Support changes: brigitte, lucio, wuyang, kiriko

Brigitte’s Shield Bash damage jumped from 50 to 70, giving her more bite.

Lucio’s Sonic Amplifier damage per projectile dropped from 22 to 20, lowering his poke damage.

Wuyang received nerfs with Rushing Torrent cooldown increased from 7 to 8 seconds and Guardian Wave healing boost reduced from 4 seconds to 3.

Kiriko’s survival items were hit hard. Talisman of Life’s ability power scaling dropped from 20% to 15%, and its overhealth was reduced from 100 to 80. Donut Delivery’s cooldown reduction fell from 10% to 5% and healing decreased from 120 to 80.

Juno, however, got a buff with Pulsar Destroyer’s damage increased from 20 to 35.

Overwatch 2 Season 18 Stadium mode buffs for orisa, sigma, and mei

Orisa got buffs across her Stadium powers:

  • Scorched Earth damage increased to 25%
  • Shield Divergence barrier health scaling improved
  • Supercharger base health doubled to 400

Sigma’s Beam Splitter now reduces melee damage and its reduction was increased from 50% to 75%. Volatile Gravel now grants 5% ability power per hit until the end of the round, stacking up to four times. Maestro Gravitic Flux refunds 50% of ult charge if it misses.

Mei’s Snowball now applies a 30% slow when landing critical hits, rewarding precision.

General item changes in Overwatch 2 Season 18

Ironclad Exhaust Ports now stack overhealth only once but gained +10 health.

Three-Tap Tommygun was reworked to apply additional damage for 3 seconds after using an ability instead of on the next three hits. Damage scaling dropped from 3% to 1%, with a cooldown of 0.25 seconds. Its cost was also lowered to 9,500.

Mark of the Kitsune now has damage falloff on its bonus effect.
